It all began in 1994 in the humble town of Barceloneta, Puerto Rico. Our founder and CEO launched the business as a small custom metal shop with a clear mission: to deliver unmatched craftsmanship and reliability. As Puerto Rico's pharmaceutical sector experienced explosive growth, so did we—quickly becoming a trusted partner for industry giants like Abbott, Pfizer, and Procter & Gamble.

Through these early years, our dedication to stainless steel fabrication evolved into a true passion. We committed ourselves to mastering the science and art of working with stainless steel—preserving its strength, beauty, and integrity in every project.

In 2014, we took our expertise stateside, relocating operations to Florida. But no matter where we worked, our commitment to quality and service never wavered.

By 2024, it was time to come home. Quick Metal Shop returned to Puerto Rico, now based in Toa Baja. But this was more than a return—it marked a powerful new chapter.

This new chapter also brought new strength to our team. Upon returning to Puerto Rico, our founder was joined by his wife, a native of The Netherlands, bringing with her a wealth of expertise in Computer Science and Project Management. Together, we are merging old-world craftsmanship with modern technology—streamlining production, embracing digital innovation, and building a more agile, responsive business model.

Like many entrepreneurs, we faced unexpected delays and supply issues when restarting operations on the island. Rather than accept these obstacles, we turned them into opportunity. We’re now building one of Puerto Rico’s most efficient production lines—poised to become the island’s leading laser cutting company. Our goal is simple: deliver fast, high-quality metal fabrication solutions to contractors, engineers, and DIYers across Puerto Rico and beyond.
